FIXED DEPOSIT

LIQUID ASSET
Property purchase is optional for all applicants. The approved participant is allowed to purchase 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 in Sarawak with value at least 𝗥𝗠𝟲𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 (𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻) and 𝗥𝗠𝟱𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 (𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀) 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘥𝘦 (𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵)(𝘕𝘰.2) 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 1998 & 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥 (𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘈𝘤𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯) 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 1998. Minimum Stay
𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 per year in Sarawak. (𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺)
Involvement in Employment / Investment
S-MM2H participants are not eligible to work full time
S-MM2H participants are only eligible to work part time in professional jobs in sectors approved by the ILMU thru MTCP
Total working hours must not exceed 20 working hours per week
S-MM2H participants are allowed to be “Minority partner” in Joint-venture (JV) business with local partner in sectors approved by ILMU. S-MM2H participants must own minimum 49% of the total paid-up capital of RM250,000 (minimum).

Terms and Conditions
- All applicants must submit the required documents to the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak.
- All applicants must be bonded by a Sponsor who originated from and currently staying in Sarawak OR by an S-MM2H Licensed Agent that is registered in Sarawak.
- All applicants are expected to be financially capable of supporting themselves during the participation of this programme.
- 10(5+5) years and renewable upon expiry. For renewal, the existing participants are still adhered to existing requirements. After 10 years, applicant must apply as a NEW APPLICATION
- One off RM5,000 processing fee to MTCP (Note: The processing fee is for first 5 years pass)
- Pass renewal, change of principal applicant and nationality requires PDRM Security Screening
- Principal applicant and all dependent(s) requires a letter of good conduct
- Applicant must be covered by medical insurance for the duration of their S-MM2H pass.
- Health examination is required
- S-MM2H pass upon principals’s death are not transferable
- NOT a permanent residence status holder
- All applicant are allowed to bring maid subject to applicant compliance of current requirement of entry for foreign maid by Immigration Department
